Is Notion heading in the right direction? Can the team execute as well as they need to?

Back in December of 2020 I wrote a lengthy post on The Productivists forum talking about some growing concerns I had about the “competence” of the Notion management team, in light of various seemingly odd decisions and certain issues that had arisen. After doing a decent amount of research into Notion’s history, I found myself wondering whether co-founder Ivan Zhao and others in senior roles really had what it takes to effectively grow a product like Notion over the long-term.

Since then more issues have arisen and my concern has only grown. Read the full discussion over on The Productivists, and be sure to check out my recent update at the bottom where I address a notable recent blog post from Ivan Zhao.
